when it comes down to it, you can buy a $10 gift certificate for $3 and a $25 gift certificate for $10, to dine at a bunch of different restaurants. i mean, are you SERIOUS?! what a steal!
i think the basic idea is for these restaurants to get more traffic. and while the selection is limited and restrictions apply (sometimes you can only use the gift certificates on certain nights), the deal's still a steal. particularly if there are restaurants listed that you go to all the time. plus, the website's national, so you can always look for places even when you're on the road. last but not least, it's *super* easy to purchase and print. which means that you can save a *ton* of money dining out. ulimately, these gift certificates make great gifts -- for yourself or anyone else!
