it's all a bit of a blur, but i probably saw this flick around the same time as i saw the last flick. b/c they're all of the same genre and they're all responding to the same hormone shifts. so there.
in any case, this one was definitely more watchable, though not by very much. i actually really like kerri russell. (go mickey mouse club!) though i'm iffy about jonathan rhys meyers. (he just doesn't do it for me.) and robin williams is definitely still on a downslope. (what is going ON with him??) the little kid was actually pretty good, though a bit too skinny. (do child actors get fed??) and terrence howard is always compelling.
the plot was pretty simple, but i liked the twists that kept the characters from finding each other. at every turn, you're like: COME ON! THEY'RE RIGHT THERE! ugh! a bit aggravating, but at least you know you're into the movie when this happens. the last scene is priceless with the two characters walking up towards the stage. i think the whole movie is worth it for the last scene. i think i cried. (WARNING: i cry at EVERYthing.)
